CM Himanta Biswa Sarma interacts with senior citizens in Demow

DEMOW: On Thursday, State Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma campaigned for Sushanta Borgohain, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led alliance candidate.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma promised to set up a medical college in Thowra constituency of Sivasagar district. A citizens' meeting was held in Demow Public Hall on Thursday evening. The Chief Minister interacted with the senior citizens. He promised that works of the Demow ASTC Bus Stand would start within three months. He also promised to open Science stream in Demow College, develop the infrastructure of Demow Model Hospital, provide ambulance in Demow Model Hospital, develop the Demow Public crematorium and to set up a fire brigade.
