CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to Visit Uriamghat Eviction Site on July 25

Sarupathar: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will visit Uriamghat in the Sarupathar constituency on July 25 to assess/take a look  of the situation at the recent eviction site.The visit comes in the wake of eviction operations carried out in the area, which have drawn public attention and concern.

The Chief Minister is expected to meet local officials, inspect the ground conditions, and interact with affected people if necessary.Officials said the visit reflects the government’s intent to personally monitor such sensitive operations and ensure that they are conducted within legal and humanitarian frameworks.
