CM Sarbananda Sonowal attends Eknaan Akhanda Kirtan at Na-Xatra

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that spiritual leader Krishnaguru showed the way as to how to lead a beautiful life based on the tenets of humanism. Following the ideals of Krishnaguru, everybody should move forward for establishing enduring peace in the society, stated a press release.

Speaking at the Krishnaguru Eknaam Akhanda Kirtan 2020 and a religious discourse held at the Krishna Guru Sevashram at Na-Xatra on Monday, Chief Minister Sonowal said that Krishnaguru Mahaprabhu gave a path of enduring peace to the society through spiritualism. Using this path everybody in the state irrespective of their belief system should work to make Assam one of the best states in the country. With the feelings of devotion and dedication, everybody should untiringly be working to maintain the forward march of the state.

Chief Minister Sonowal also said that moved by the teachings of Krishnaguru Mahaprabhu, people in the society should make concerted efforts to wipe off superstitions to add new dimension to the progress of the society. Referring to Krishnaguru Mahaprabhu’s teachings who believed in good actions, Sonowal said that to bail out the humanity from the sufferings the only way out is good actions. The Chief Minister also said that for peace, unity and harmony in the state, the followers should spread the teachings of Krishnaguru in their area to help the society experience enduring peace. He also called upon the younger generation to build a good moral character based on the teachings of Krishnaguru Mahaprabhu.

Stating that knowledge is power, Sonowal urged upon the teachers and parents to inculcate in their wards love for knowledge. He also asked the student fraternity to take the lead in steering Assam through the path of peace, tranquillity, harmony, friendship and camaraderie.

MLA Rituparna Baruah and Chairman Duliajan-Numaligarh Refinery Pipe Line Limited Rupam Goswami also spoke on the occasion. Bhakti Matree Kuntala Patowary Goswami, General Secretary Krishnaguru International Managing Committee Ram Gopal Bhagawati and Bangshidhar Talukdar, Vice Chancellor Krishnaguru Adhatmik Vishvavidalaya Dr. Tarun Chandra Bora and a host other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
