CM Sarbananda Sonowal laid foundation stones for several projects in Majuli

The development projects under the Asom Darshan scheme are a cultural research center, guest house, and boundary wall, an auditorium, and infrastructure development. TheCM also launched several flood and erosion control projects at Karatipar.

Apart from unveiling development projects, CM Sonowal inaugurated a cultural entre and a 5 KW Solar Power Plant under Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL). He also released an Assamese book by Dipak Das and another book by Jitul Das.

Speaking at the event CM Sonowal said that the State government has taken the responsibility to develop the holy place of 'Ajoli Aai' and introduce many projects under the Assam State Housing Board (ASHB) and Asom Darshan scheme.

CM Sonowal also took to Twitter and wrote, "Offered obeisance at the historic Ajoli Aai Than in Majuli and sought blessings for everyone's well being".
