CM Sarbananda Sonowal Urges Youth to Build Ideal Society Through Spiritual Knowledge

JOYSAGAR: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal urged the youth to work for building an ideal society through spiritual knowledge. He was addressing the Sri Sri Krishnaguru 84th Spiritual Youth Conclave held at Boarding Field in Sivasagar district on Sunday. The conclave had begun on October 12.

On the concluding day today, hundreds of devotees and delegates from across the State took part. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sonowal said that the youth could bring about revolutionary changes in a society. Krishnaguru showed them the path following which they could take part in building the society. Therefore, the youth must enrich themselves with spiritual knowledge to join the initiatives to form a better and ideal society.

Sonowal termed the youth as one of the strongest forces and said that they could develop an ideal society by leading a disciplined life. He also advised them to work hard with dedication and sincerely for attaining success in life.

Earlier in the morning, the Spiritual Unity Rally was formally inaugurated by Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner PG Jha. In the evening, the concluding open session was chaired by Mukul Deka, president of Krishnaguru Sewa Samiti, Na-Xatra. The open session was inaugurated by Bhaktimatri Kuntala Patwari and Jorhat LS MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa attended as guest in the session. Tasa in his speech said that such spiritual and cultural initiatives could make a strong and united society where there would be no differences and all human beings could be identified as one family. Premananda Prabhu of Krishnaguru Sevashram, Minister of State for Power (Independent) Topon Kumar Gogoi, MLAs Kushal Dowari and Jogen Mohan, Sivasagar DC Pallav Gopal Jha, Executive Director of ONGC and host of other dignitaries were present.

Earlier, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also attended in a BJP party workers’ meeting which was organized by the Sivasagar district BJP Committee and held in the Amolapatty Naamghar auditorium. Sonowal also attended the Moran Women College silver jubilee function and appreciated the contribution made by the college in the field of women’s education in Assam. He also allotted Rs. 10 lakh from his welfare fund to Moran Women College for development of the college playground.
