Collection of poems released in Barpeta

BARPETA: An exceptional farewell meeting was held here at Barpeta on the day of retirement of Benudhar Das, chief assistant, Barpeta DC office. Benudhar Das has written many poems and they have been published in various newspapers. Benudhar Das has published a book of poems titled Words of Happiness which was released by the Deputy Commissioner of Barpeta, Tej Prasad Bhushal.

In his address, the Deputy Commissioner said that people should live happily. Only then can they do their work properly. Benudhar Das joined the DC office in 1985 and sincerely rendered service all these years. In this programme, District Development Officer Diganta Das, ADC Lakhimi Dutta and Nabajit Pathak were also present.
