College buildings inaugurated

Biswanath Chariali, June 26: Three college buildings including the administrative block of Biswanath College, here were inaugurated on Monday by State Minister for Education, Sidhartha Bhattacharya. The buildings were constructed under Rastriya Uchcha Siksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and other schemes of the college. Inaugurating the buildings, Bhattacharya praised the efforts made by the college authority for the development of the college. He also announced that an engineering and a B Ed college would be set up in the Biswanath district. The meeting was also attended by Handloom minister Ranjit Dutta, Biswanath MLA Pramod Borthakur, Gohpur MLA Utpal Borah and others. Later, a good number of organizations submitted several memoranda citing their demands.
