Compilation of articles by poet and writer Nripendra Kumar Baruah released

MANGALDAI: 'Kon Bate Jaon' - a book on collection of articles revolving our social lives and contemporary society written in Assamese as well as in English by poet and writer Nripendra Kumar Baruah - was released here on Saturday.

In this connection a function was organized at the Press Club where renowned artiste, writer and progressive thinker Loknath Goswami released the book as the chief guest. In his address Goswami hoped that the book would help the younger generation, who otherwise are very much confused, to choose the right path. The function was also attended by writer Junu Borah, president (in-charge ) of Darrang Zila Xahitya Xabha, Barada Saikia, veteran journalist and editor of the local forthnightly 'Douranga', Sankar Kakati and others.
