Concern over shortage of textbooks

Jorhat, January 28: While the new academic session started from January, the government schools in Jorhat district have been suffering due to shortage of textbooks. According to sources, there is shortage of textbooks of Classes IX and X at Kenduguri Book Depot in Jorhat. Only 10 per cent Social Science books (part 1) for Class IX and Class X were distributed to 106 book sellers by Kenduguri Book Depot. Sources said that there were no textbooks for MIL for Class IX and Class X in Jorhat district.
