Congress activist arrested with drugs by Darrang Police

MANGALDAI: Darrang Police acting on a tip-off on Saturday morning arrested one Congress activist for his involvement in drug peddling. The drug peddler has been identified as Rahijuddin Ahmed (50), son of Nashimuddin Ahmed of village Kawadanga under Dhula Police Station in Darrang district. The police recovered a total of 23.13 grams of brown sugar and 11 empty plastic ampoules and one soap box from his possession.
