Congress Booth Sanmillan organized in Demow Public Hall

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Thowra Block Congress Committee and in association with Thowra Block Mahila, Yuba and NSUI, a Booth Sanmillan was organized in Demow Public Hall on Tuesday where Bhupen Kumar Borah, president of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), was present as chief guest. After taking charge as APCC president, Bhupen Kumar Borah came to Thowra constituency for the first time on Tuesday. The Congress workers gave a warm welcome to Bhupen Kumar Borah and a bike rally was also taken out on the occasion. The Thowra and Sivasagar Congress workers felicitated Bhupen Kumar Borah with a phulam gamosa, xarai and citation. While speaking in the meeting, Bhupen Borah criticized Sushanta Borgohain, former Congress MLA of Thowra constituency, the State Government and Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
