Congress ward commissioner of Doomdooma Municipal Board joins BJP

DOOMDOOMA: The only Congress ward commissioner of Doomdooma Municipal Board (DMB), Milan Yadav of Ward No.4 joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at a working meeting of the BJP Doomdooma Mandal held at Anant Bibah Bhaban on Wednesday in presence of Doomdooma MLA Rupesh Gowala, BJP Tinsukia District Committee president Kush Kant Bora, Doomdooma Municipality chairperson Kanta Bhattacharya and vice-chairman Moni Dutta.

The DMB was formed 10 months ago with nine BJP and one Congress ward commissioners under the leadership of Kanta Bhattacharya (BJP). The newly-inducted Ward Commissioner Yadav was warmly welcomed by MLA Rupesh Gowala. The meeting discussed the organizational aspects of the party in the meeting.
