Construction Worker From Assam Found Dead At Chennai Airport

Guwahati: A 35-year-old migrant worker from Assam was found dead outside the airport's departure terminal on Saturday.

According to reports, the worker identified as Dipak Paul, an Assam construction worker was about to board a flight to Guwahati.

After getting information about the same, airport personnel moved the body to a government hospital for an autopsy.

Reportedly, on Friday, he was at the airport to catch a flight to Guwahati. However, at the checking-in point, he fainted following which he was given first aid by the doctors and later was sent to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital for further treatment.

On Saturday, he too came to the airport to board a flight to Guwahati but he was found unconscious near toilet at the departure terminal.

Officials concerned took him to the Chromepet government hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
