Coordination Committee for BTR Organization (CCBTRO) appeals for sustenance of peace and unity in BTC

KOKRAJHAR: The Coordination Committee for BTR Organization (CCBTRO) made an appeal to all the communities of BTR to sustain peace and unity for the greater interest of development of the region and also called upon all to remain conscious of the current political trends for protecting political and constitutional rights of the indigenous communities of the region.

An important discussion of the CCBTRO, an umbrella organization of 26 communities living in BTR was held on Sunday at Chirang district ABSU office, Kajalgaon.

The meeting discussed on sustaining peace, harmony, and secured Bodoland Region for building brotherhood among all communities, land rights, youth empowerment, cultural identity, stand against anti-social activities like drugs, child marriage, trafficking, etc., and getting aware of prevailing political situations, equal rights, and equal development for prosperous BTR.

The President of the ABSU, Dipen Boro, said, “Our mission and agenda with the vision of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma’s ‘Live and Let Live’ motto for upholding community spirit of equality will continue to strengthen BTR sixth schedule without any hesitation.”
