Coronavirus: 11 persons put under quarantine in Nagrijuli Model Hospital at Baksa

TAMULPUR: Eleven persons have been put under quarantine in Nagrijuli Model Hospital in the district of Baksa.

The 30-bedded Nagrijul Model Hospital in Baksa has been converted to quarantine facility to keep suspected coronavirus-infected persons. In the last two days, a total of 11 persons have been quarantined in the Nagrijuli Model Hospital. On April 1, a family comprising five members was caught at Tamulpur by Tamulpur Police while they were returning from Bihar after treatment by an ambulance and they were sent to Baksa district headquarter Mushalpur for health check-up. After health check-up they were quarantined in their house but after completion of the quarantine centre of Nagrijuli, they were shifted to Nagrijuli Model Hospital for quarantine.

Moreover, another six persons from Uttar Pradesh who were working as labourers in Suklai area under Tamulpur subdivision, were also taken to Baksa District Headquarter for heath examination and after that they were also quarantined at the same centre in Nagrijuli.
