Coronavirus (COVID-19) fear in Bajali Subdivision

PATHSALA: Panic prevails among the people of Bajali subdivision as due to the outbreak of the dreaded coronavirus, people have started returning home from other States.
A large number of youths of Bajali area working in States like Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Hyderabad are now returning back home and this has made people fear that they might be carrying the virus.
A youth named Surya Kanta Das of Kathalmurighat reportedly returned back from Kerala. He allegedly refused to obey the direction of health officer Manjit Das who arrived at his residence and advised him to remain in home isolation.
This is just one instance. Many people who returned home from other States are roaming freely instead of staying at home in isolation. Though the administration has issued strict orders to village heads in this regard, they are allegedly not obeying the orders.
