Coronavirus (COVID-19) scare grips Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Sensation prevailed in Sivasagar after a 22-year-old man suspected of being infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been admitted at Sivasagar Civil Hospital, Joysagar on Monday. According to sources, the man complained of fever and respiratory problems after returning from Chennai where he works on Sunday. The man, a resident of Dulia Basti at Amguri in Sivasagar district, was immediately admitted at the hospital. The hospital authorities have kept him at an isolation ward. When contacted, the Superintendent of the Sivasagar Civil Hospital, Dr Rajib Baruah said that the youth has tested negative of coronavirus.
