Counting of votes for general election to be taken up by Returning Officers from 8am on May 23

Haflong: As per directives from the Election Commission of India, New Delhi to all the Returning Officers for the ensuing elections, a letter was recently issued. As per the letter regarding general elections to the Sabha, 2019 and general election to the legislative assemblies of Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim and by-elections to fill the clear vacancies in assembly constituencies of various States, counting of votes is to be taken up by the Returning Officers from 8am on May 23.
