COVID-19 Lockdown affects small businessmen & roadside vendors

DEMOW: The lockdown imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the small vendors and businessmen. After the lockdown was lifted in phases, there was some respite for the small vendors and businessmen. However, the weekend lockdown continues to make life difficult for them. "We don't know how we will survive in this way as business has been affected due to the lockdown," said a businessman of Demow. Many roadside vendors have started selling other things. The timings to open and close shops have changed now and this also has created problems for the businessmen as well as customers.
