COVID-19 lockdown:  Rotary Club, Duliajan distributes food items among needy

Duliajan: Following the footsteps of many others, the Rotary Club, Duliajan has come forward to help poor and needy people in the locality during the on-going nationwide lockdown. The Club distributed some essential food stuffs among the economically unsound people in the area. The Club stated in a press release that in view of the prevailing situation arising out of outbreak of the Covid-19 and also on the on-going nationwide lockdown period, the poor people are suffering a lot to get the two square of meals in a day. Considering the above and in order to give some relief in this crucial situation, the Rotary Club of Duliajan, has distributed grocery items, like Rice, Dal, M. Oil, Potato, Onion, Salt, Dettol Soap, Nutrela etc. to 100 families of the Club’s adopted village at Chapatoli Bongali Gaon under Bhadli Out Post today. Rtn. Sidartha Hazarika, Rtn.Sunil Borgohain, Rtn.Rajumoni Gogoi, Rtn.Bimal Borgohain, Rtn. Dhurbajyotj Hazarika were present during the distribution time.
