Tezpur: Amid nationwide lockdown in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak, a social worker of Tezpur, Paras Rai distributed food packets to 80 poor daily wage worker families at ward number ten. These food packets contain 5 kg rice, 1kg dal, salt, masala and 200 ml mustard oil.

DEMOW: Members of Anajari Gramya Organization of Nitaipukhuri under Demow Development Block distributed essential commodities among 200 families in the nearby areas of Nitaipukhuri on Thursday. The essential commodities included dal, potato, salt, soap and vegetables. The members of Anajari Gramya Organization of Nitaipukhuri and members of Panchami Mandal-level Mahila Organization went door-to-door and distributed essential commodities among the people. They also created awareness among the people on cleanliness.
