COVID-19 pandemic dampens Ganesh Chaturthi celebration in Demow

DEMOW: Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated throughout the State on Saturday. Every year the Ganesh Chaturthi Puja is celebrated in Demow near Parijat Cinema Hall and Demow Central Market. But this year, the COVID-19 pandemic dampened the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration. As there was weekend lockdown on Saturday, only rituals were performed and there was no public gathering.
