COVID-19 vaccination drive held with great enthusiasm in Dima Hasao

HAFLONG: Dima Hasao district of Assam has taken part in the world's fastest and largest COVID-19 vaccination drive with great enthusiasm.

At Haflong district headquarter of Dima Hasao, people were found to be very positive and enthusiastic to avail the opportunity of vaccination which is being given free of cost at Town OPD and Haflong Civil Hospital as per government norms.

On duty nurses said that people are coming voluntarily in large numbers. Medical staff has been able to convince the people about the effectiveness of the vaccine. After being vaccinated, many people opined that the government would need to build public confidence in the COVID-19 vaccine along with supplying logistics. Some others said it would be good to engage high-profile politicians and celebrities to promote the campaign.
