COVID tests at entry points of Dima Hasao continue

HAFLONG: As suggested by the health department and approved by the Chief Executive Member, NC Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), Debolal Gorlosa, the objective of starting COVID tests (both Rapid Antigen and RT- PCR) at Dima Hasao border entry points of Dettokcherra, Diyungmukh and Manderdisa, has started to bear fruit, said Samuel Changsan, Executive Member, NCHAC, in-charge Medical.

More than 840 persons coming to Dima Hasao were tested. Two health frontline warriors at Diyungmukh border post tested positive and tests of all other contact personnel were being done, said Changsan. Further, a comprehensive COVID review meet was held at the Circuit House yesterday and it was chaired by B BHagjer, MLA of Haflong.
