DEMOW: Political parties are gearing up for the upcoming by-election in Thowra constituency. According to sources, the Communist Party of India (CPI) will contest in the upcoming by-election in Thowra constituency.
In a press release, Ajay Borah, secretary of CPI Thowra Constituency Committee stated that in a meeting of the Party-State Parishad, it was decided that in Thowra constituency for the by-election, youth leader as well as advocate, Krishna Gogoi, an inhabitant of Demow Barua Changmai, would be the party's candidate.
