CPI (M) meeting held at Bapuji Bhawan, Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: The 13th annual conference of CPI(M) Jamugurihat regional party was held at Bapuji Bhawan here with a day-long programme with Gana Acharya in the chair on Sunday. The day-long programme began with hoisting of the party flag by Dambarudhar Saikia followed by floral tributes.

The main session was attended by Niru Dutta and Agam Tiwari as observers which was addressed by Gajen Nath, Dambarudhar Saikia, Benu Hazarika, Ghanashyam Bhuyan among others. Bharat Bhattacharya read out the proceedings of the earlier meeting. The session condemned the "unscientific eviction drives carried out by the state government" and demanded immediate rehabilitation.
