DOOMDOOMA: In response to a call by the Communist Party of India (Marxist), State Committee to observe July 10 as 'Demand Day' in support of the demand for immediate release of all political detainees in the movement against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and for taking steps for immediate health check-up and better treatment for them if they fall sick inside prison during the period of such detention, CPI (M) Doomdooma Branch also observed the day at Gandhi Chowk, Doomdooma by displaying placards and shouting slogans.
