CRPF’s COBRA Jawan from Kokrajhar dies in Naxal attack in Jharkhand

KOKRAJHAR: CRPF's COBRA jawan Praneswar Koch of Magurmari near Kokrajhar town lost his life during an anti-Naxal operation on Wednesday morning in Jharkhand.

Sources said that the team was ambushed by Naxals early on Wednesday morning. Alongside the martyrdom of young jawan Praneswar Koch, reports confirmed that two Naxals were also killed in the encounter.

According to a family source, Praneswar Koch had joined the CRPF in 2018. A wave of mourning swept through Praneshwar’s home in Rabhapara, Magurmari. Praneswar left behind his parents, siblings, wife, and a 4-year-old son.
