Cultural Procession Marks Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of DHSK College

Dibrugarh: A cultural procession showcasing the diversity in Assamese culture as well as its richness was taken out on Friday morning to mark the platinum jubilee celebrations of the DHSK College. Hundreds of students, teachers, and former teachers of the college participated in the procession. It was also attended by MLA Rituparna Baruah, a former student of the institution, and office bearers of the organizing committee.
Earlier, during the inauguration of the platinum jubilee celebrations, 75 flags were hoisted indicating each of the 75 years. They were hoisted by one of the graduates of each of the years respectively. It was followed by a reunion of the former students of the institution, thereby setting the stage for nostalgia. The procession beautifully exhibited the richness of various tribes inhabiting the State, various linguistic groups, diverse culture as well as varied attire.
