Cultural Workshop on Xatriya Nritya, Gayan-Bayan and Bhortal Nritya Concludes on Lakhimpur,Assam

LAKHIMPUR, July 31: The cultural workshop organized by Basantalata Bishweshwar Changkakakati Memorial Sankardev Sishu Niketan of North Lakhimpur concluded on Monday. Training on Xatriya Nritya, Gayan-Bayan and Bhortal Nritya were conducted in the workshop which commenced from July 24 with a seven-day long programme. Baliram Nath, Cheniram Borah, Shanti Bori and Pranab Jyoti Saikia participated in the programme as the trainers.

Banashree Gogoi and Maitri Gayan assisted in the music. The trainees staged an ankiya bhaona titled Ram Bijay along with the presentation of Gayan-Bayan, Bhortal Nritya and Chali Nritya in the concluding ceremony of the workshop where Rajesh Malpani, the president of the School Management Committee, and the guardians of the students were present.
