Curfew has been lifted in Tezpur but Section 144 will be remained imposed

Tezpur: Curfew has been lifted in Tezpur on Monday. Section 144 will be remained imposed prohibiting assembly of 5 or more persons in public places. The protesters continued with their demonstrations. Around 10,000 people of greater Tezpur assembled at Swahid Bakori and a rally was taken out from Mazgaon Swahid Bakori to DC Court Chariali. No untoward incidents were reported in the town.
