Cycle rally held as part of National Unity Day celebration on Octo 31 to mark Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary

TEZPUR: 30 Bn CRPF Charduar and all companies located in the district of Sonitpur, Bishwanath, North Lakhimpur and Dhemaji on Saturday organized a cycle rally as a part of a series of events to celebrate National Unity Day on October 31 to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, also known as the Iron Man of India.

The event was a grand success where hundreds of people from all spheres of society including students, teachers, eminent personalities, nearby villagers and political leaders joined hands with CRPF personnel. The programme was organized under the leadership of Rahul Kant Sahu (Second in command). Santosh Singh Chauhan (Deputy Commandant) and Assistant Commandant Ashutosh Kumar, Sh. B.V. Singh Yodha, Rohitas Rathod, Anand Kumar were also present in the programme. 30 Bn CRPF will organize more programmes in the coming days.
