Darrang police arrested Drug peddler

MANGALDAI: Darrang police in their continuing intensified operation against drug peddlers and other criminals, recovered 40 grams of heroin and arrested one notorious drug peddler in this connection. A police team acting on a tip-off, conducted a raid and search operation in the house of one drug peddler named Rashid Ali (23), son of Fajal Haque of village Duliapara under Dalgaon Police station, and recovered 65 plastic containers wrapped in a black colour polythene bag containing the recovered brown heroin. He has been booked under the provisions of the NDPS Act.
