Day-long Jeth Mahia Naam held at East Krishnanagar Naamghar in Dhekiajuli

DHEKIAJULI: A day long Jeth Mahia Naam was held at East Krishnanagar Naamghar in ward number 5, Dhekiajuli on Sunday. For this purposes a Naam Prasanga was held in the morning at the Naamghar campus. In this programmed Bhakats of Naamghar including the women’s were also participated. At the end of the Naam Kirtan 25 meritorious students who brought laurels to Dhekiajuli in the recently declared HSLC examinations were felicitated. Hridam Thakuria of Shankar Shishu Niketan, Dhekiajuli who secured Top rank in Assam had been warm welcomed and felicitated with a Phulam Gamocha along with a citation in presence of hundreds of Bhakats and others in the Naamghar campus. In the felicitation programme several prominent persons of Dhekiajuli were attended and among them were Chandan Bothra noted industrialist, Rabin Dutta, President Naamghar Management Committee, Narayan Phayel, local correspondents Asomia Pratidin, Sarbananda Thakuria, Binit Borah local school teachers among others.
