DC Pranab Kumar Sarma inspects fair price shops in Darrang
As part of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotshav', Deputy Commissioner of Darrang Pranab Kumar Sarma has inspected a number of fair price shops

MANGALDAI: As part of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotshav', Deputy Commissioner of Darrang Pranab Kumar Sarma has inspected a number of fair price shops in and around Mangaldai town, Chapai and Janaramchowka Gaon Panchayat area and closely interacted with the FP dealers on Tuesday and Wednesday. He also gave a patient hearing to their grievances in extending their service to the consumers. The Deputy Commissioner while interacting with the FP shop dealers, suggested them to make better improvements while serving their consumers.
Newly-joined Assistant Commissioners Akangshi Bhattacharjee and Ihshanul Hussain, Deputy Director of Food and Civil Supplies Tapan Kumar Dutta, Area Officers Taranath Sarma, Iswar Sarma, Dhruba Jyoti Deka and Technical Support Staff accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during his visit to eight numbers of Fair Price Shop dealers. He also thoroughly inspected all records of the shops, stock and the checklist and also interacted with a number of consumers.
