TINSUKIA: The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Tinsukia conducted a joint full-scale mock exercise on flood rescue in coordination with NDRF 12 Bn Daimukh, health services, 108 Emergency services, CRPF, Civil Defence, Social Welfare department and other stakeholders in Dibru river village at Guijan under Tinsukia revenue circle on Saturday. The mock exercise was carried out as a part of preparedness to combat flood-like situations in Tinsukia district as per guidelines of NDMA. During the event, the NDRF 12 Bn team presented various rescue and response techniques to save lives during flood or similar eventualities.
