Dead body recovered in Desang River near Demow

DEMOW: A dead body was recovered in Bokota Jalukoni in Desang River near Demow under Nemuguri Police Station on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Birup Chutia, a resident of Pathalial Koibarta Gaon. According to sources, Birup Chutia was missing since November 16 and on Monday the dead body of Birup Chutia was recovered in Desang river in Bokota Jalukoni. The Nemuguri Police and local magistrate reached the incident area and recovered the dead body and sent it for post mortem.
