Death anniversary observed of noted journalist Dilip Chakraborty in Bilasipara

BILASIPARA: The third death anniversary of noted journalist Dilip Kumar Chakraborty, editor of Ganachabuk and North East Echo, was observed at Bilasipara on Tuesday in the premises of Bilasipara Subdivisional Public Library. Tribute was also offered to Debojit Neogi and Manik Sarma.

In this connection, a memorial meeting was held with Mofizul Hussain Ahmed, president of Bilasipara Press Club, in the chair. Senior journalist Dayal Paul explained the aims and objectives of the meeting. Dayal Pauil, Kalyan Chakraborty and Sunil Saha jointly garlanded the portraits of the journalists. Kalyan Chakraborty and Gitanjali Neogi recollected the contribution of the three journalists in the field of journalism.
