Death anniversary of Padmashree Pratima Baruah Pandey observed in Bongaigaon

Bongaigaon: The 16th death anniversary of Padmashree Pratima Baruah Pandey was observed in Abhayapuri in Bongaigaon district. The programme was organized by Sukladdhwaj, a cultural organization of Abhayapuri.

The programme started by lighting of lamp in front of the portrait of Pratima Baruah Pandey by Rituparna Pathak, cultural secretary of Sukladdhwaj ,which is followed by floral tribute by Dipjyoti Sarkar, president of Abhayapuri AASU.

Bikram Ranjan Ray, lecturer of Abhayapuri College and president of Sukladdhwaj, and Manoj Kumar Baruah, working president of Sukladdhwaj, spoke on the life of Pratima Baruah Pandey. Few songs of Pratima Baruah Pandey were also sung.
