Debabrata Saikia takes oath as Ex-Officio member of Nazira & Simaluguri Municipal Board

GAURISAGAR: Nazira MLA-cum-leader of Opposition Debabrata Saikia took oath as the Ex-Officio member of the Nazira and Simaluguri Municipal Board on Saturday in a meeting organised at the conference hall of the office of the Sub-divisional Officer (civil). Sabyasachi Kashyap, SDO (C), Nazira administered the oath of office to the Ex-Officio member held at his conference. Debabrata Saikia pledged his service to the board at the event.

Kashyap, ADC( i/c,) congratulated the Ex-Officio member and affirmed full co-operation from the administration to the board. Saikia, reminded the ward commissioners to follow the principles of Mahatma Gandhi and to work relentlessly for the progress of the society and to mitigate the public issues within the next five years. The oath-taking ceremony was also attended by the Executive Officer( i/c ) Simaluguri Municipal Board Pritom Gogoi, SDI & PRO Dr. Barnali Dutta and other officials.
