Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visits Gajraj Corps Tezpur

TEZPUR: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Gajraj Corps Tezpur on Thursday. The Defence Minister was accompanied by General Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Chief of Army Staff and Lieutenant General RP Kalita, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command. During his visit, the Defence Minister was briefed on the operational situation and preparedness of the Corps by Lieutenant General DS Rana, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding, Gajraj Corps. He also interacted with the troops and complimented them for high standards of professionalism and dedication towards duty while safeguarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the nation braving the harsh weather conditions and inhospitable terrain.
