Demise of Editor of 'Bodoland Sansri' Jahar Brahma Condoled

Kokrajhar: Noted social worker and editor of Bodoland Sansri, a Bodo daily published from Kokrajhar, Jahar Brahma passed away recently at a private nursing home in Guwahati. He was 68. Brahma was suffering from Japanese Encephalitis and was undergoing treatment at a private nursing home in Guwahati since the past couple of weeks. Brahma was closely associated with Brahma Dharma. He leaves behind his wife, a son, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers. His son Shivnath Brahma is the secretary of Assam State BJP. Many people and organizations, including Kokrajhar Press Club, offered condolence and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
