Demow Gearing Up For Independence Day Celebration

DEMOW: The 73rd Independence Day will be celebrated at Demow public playground with a daylong programme on August 15. Regarding this, a discussion was held at Demow Revenue Circle Office recently where Manuroma Morang, Demow Circle Officer presided over it. Senior citizen as well as Retired Principal of Demow College Naranath Chetia, Ghana Kanta Gogoi, Retired Principal of Demow Higher Secondary School, Demow Block Elementary Education Officer Mahendra Sarma, along with other senior citizens of Demow were present in the discussion and it was decided that like rest of the years, the I-Day will be celebrated at Demow public playground this year also. The local administration of Demow is preparing to celebrate Independence Day from August 13 to August 15 with a three-day long programme.
