Demow Junior Commerce College celebrated its silver jubilee

DEMOW: Demow Junior Commerce College in Demow Dehajan celebrated its silver jubilee on Thursday. As per the schedule, the silver jubilee programme started with flag hoisting by Ajay Kumar Gogoi, president of the governing body of the college. The flag of Demow Junior Commerce College was hoisted by Hara Nath Bharali, Principal of the college.

The Smriti tarpan was offered by Lok Nath Gogoi, retired Principal of Demow Higher Secondary School. A book was also released on the occasion by Mahendra Dutta.

A general meeting was organized which was inaugurated by Naranath Chetia, retired Principal of Demow College, and Ajay Kumar Gogoi presided over the meeting. Dr.Saumar Jyoti Mahanta, Principal of Sivasagar Commerce College, was present in the programme as a specific orator and he gave his valuable speech.
