Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies Nagaon Inaugurated Virtual Training Programme

TEZPUR: Training of personnel of the Cooperation Department is one of the prerequisites to attain success in the cooperative sector. An online training programme on 'Improving managerial and leadership effectiveness in cooperatives' for three days has been organized by ICM, Guwahati in association with DRCS, Nagaon. It was virtually inaugurated on Thursday by Biswajit Chakravarty, Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Nagaon.

In his inaugural speech, Chakravarty laid emphasis on strengthening the cooperative sector for achieving inclusive growth and sustainable development. As resource persons of the ongoing online training programme, Dr P Baishya, Faculty, ICM, H Das, Faculty, ICM Guwahati and Dr U Homiga, RICM, Chennai were also present. The participants of the training programme are all Supervising Officers of Nagaon, Hojai and Morigaon districts, including all SRCS (M).
