Devi Prasad Dahal, a resident of Koroiani in Sootea killed in fire mishap

JAMUGURIHAT: Devi Prasad Dahal, a resident of Koroiani in the southern part of Sootea, died in a fire mishap in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to information, Dahal’s house was engulfed by fire within a short time. He was sleeping inside the house at that time and was burnt alive. A team of fire fighters reached the accident site but it was too late. As per the information received from the local residents, he was a mentally challenged person. A team of Sootea police also reached the accident site later on.
