Devotees observed Kirtan Mahotsava in Barpeta

BARPETA: The death anniversary of Srimanta Sankardeva was observed at Barpeta Xatra with minimal participation of devotees. Along with the regular prasanga, the prayer starts with Bhatima and in the morning Borgeet and Gayan-Bayans were performed. The devotees of Barpeta performed Guru ghata. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, devotees observed Kirtan Mahotsava traditionally with minimal participation. Bordhemeli, Ankiya Naat and Sita Sayambar were performed.
