NALBARI: Dharmapur Vikash Mancha submitted a memorandum to the General Manager, NF Railway, Maligaon recently, urging the Railway authority to repair the road connecting to Kaithalkuchi Railway Station and to construct a flyover.
It was stated in the memorandum that the Kaithalkuchi- Gobradal- Barama Road was an important road connecting the western part of Nalbari district to both Barma and Dharmapur constituencies. But the portion of the road near the Kaithalkuchi railway level crossing had turned to a death trap for commuters. Huge potholes on the road posed a threat to the safety of commuters. Jyotirmoy Sarma, the president of Dharmapur Vikash Mancha, urged for immediate steps by NF railway to address this issue.
