Dhrupad Borgohain’s demise condoled by Lakhimpur district organizations

LAKHIMPUR: The demise of Comrade Dhrupad Borgohain, who was the prominent leader of leftist politics in the State, as well as former MP and MLA, was deeply condoled in Lakhimpur by Lakhimpur district units of Communist Party of India, Nikhil Bharat Krishak Sabha and Nirman Shramik Santha.

In this regard, a condolence meeting was organized at the Lakhimpur district office of the CPI, located in North Lakhimpur town on Thursday. The event was chaired by Girindra Prashad Upadhyay, the Lakhimpur district unit president of Nikhil Bharat Krishak Sabha. Attending the programme, Lakhimpur district unit CPI secretary Arup Kalita ruminated the works and services of the life long revolutionary personality along with his impressive ideologies. The gathering of the meeting observed one-minute silence praying for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed their concern to the bereaved family.
