DHSK College educationist Kalpana Sen Gupta Baruah feted for contribution to Hindi language

Dibrugarh: Kalpana Sen Gupta Baruah, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department at DHSK College as well as the vice principal of the same college, was felicitated with the Being Woman Falak – 2019 Swayamsiddha Srijan Samman recently at an event held in Delhi.

Baruah was feted for her valuable contribution in the field of Hindi language and literature. She is the daughter of Prafulla Chandra Baruah and Bhagyalata Baruah of Jorhat. The event was held at JNU, IIMC Auditorium (Mahatma Gandhi Manch), Delhi. The event was held under the joint auspices of the popular monthly magazine titled Kavikumbh and Being Woman – a national organization. Every year, the organizers invite poets, litterateurs and self-made women from all across the country and recognize their contributions.
